Our company gains maturity at level of data management and BI reporting .
An experienced Data (& Business) Analyst is needed in this context.

Her/his main focus will be to support business in the creation & documentation of various reporting (Payment transactions, Accounting, KYC, Logistics...).

The analyst will also have the opportunity to takes part in some business/functional analyses too.

Function  description

As an analyst, (s)he should be able to

Get a clear view of all the data sources available in Axepta environment. Communicate efficiently with business departments to gather, understand and translate business needs into clear requirements.

As a Data Analyst, (s)he should be able to

Identify which data are required to build the expected reporting Build reports via Tableau CRM (Salesforce), Tableau or Power BI. Export, merge and transform data into Excel (with Power Query) when it cannot be made through usual tools (e.g. in case of data migration from outer systems). Ensure data quality by implementing controls on the imported data. Discover trends and patterns that could bring value to the business. Organize and document functionally implemented reports.

As a Business Analyst (secondary role), (s)he should be able to

Meet and communicate with IT & business stakeholders to assess the impact of and possible solutions to the deduced requirements. Analyse and document business processes by using BPM methods. Analyse and documents functional impacts (functional specs, data flow, data dictionary...) Execute functional tests, and take occasionally the role of Test Manager.

Support the business during User Acceptance tests.

Education

You have at least a Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as statistics, mathematics or engineering (a PhD is considered an advantage).
Candidates with other academic backgrounds with substantial knowledge of analytics are also encouraged to apply).

Required experience / knowledge

You have at least years of relevant experience in Data Analytics.

Technical experience

Mandatory Excel (PowerPivot, PowerQuery...) SQL, Tableau CRM (Salesforce), Tableau software. Modelling technique (BPMN, UML...). Scrum (User Stories)
Preferable Salesforce Data model Good understanding of IT world (data models, API's, webservices...)
Business experience

Mandatory

Business Reporting in a Finance environment (Accounting, Billing, payment transaction).

Preferable

Already worked in organisations where documentation is a mandatory.
Experience in payment transaction is a (+)
